( FBI/Handout ) In this undercover video filmed by the FBI, an undercover agent counts out $3,000 in $100 bills for then Miramar City Commissioner Fitzroy Salesman. The video was recorded by agents on July 28, 2007 in a hotel room at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood. Agents said the money was a "bonus" or "good faith payment" for steering Miramar city contracts to them. Salesman was convicted of federal bribery and extortion charges. FBI Video |
