Tuskegee Airmen

Retired Tuskegee Airmen (l-r) Lt. Col. Hiram Mann, Col. Charles McGee, Maj. Joe Gomer and Richard Rutledge hold their commemorative statues during a ceremony at the African American Research Library in Fort Lauderdale honoring the mens' service during WWII. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first black pilots who served in WWII.
