A story 3 years in the making, the Lady Warriors of Wasilla High School laid the foundation for their 3 straight titles in 2011, when they defeated the Juneau Crimson Bears 36-30.
The following season, Warriors faced West Valley, a team that still has never claimed a state title. Wasilla defeated WVHS 56-33.
In 2013, the Warriors faced the Dimond Lynx in the championship. The Lynx carried a 20-14 lead at break, but the Warriors held them to only 7 points in the second half. Alexis Imhoe lead the comeback with 28 points, helping Wasilla to their 3rd straight title, 43-27. The win completed the Warrior's perfect 30-0 year.
