Ipswich, Redfield and Webster men, a former Mobridge state champion, and some former Northern State standout athletes are among the 14 people who have been named to the South Dakota High School Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

 Named to the hall were Ray Geditz, Bob Tiff, Mike Wiley, Dr. Alan Lawrence, Doyle Everson, Chet Jones, Cory Wallman, Les Sigman, Eric Hauan, Andy Tate, Jerry Hirrschoff, Hannon Hisek, Brad Lhotak and Stan Steffensen. They will be honored before Saturday’s state finals in Aberdeen and Watertown.

 Ray Geditz:  Instrumental in starting the Ipswich program where he coached from 1973-93.

 Bob Tiff:  A longtime radio broadcaster from Redfield, has been a wrestling supporter all his life.

 Mike Wiley:  A three-time state champ at Webster (1979-80, ’82), and a four-time national qualifier in college at Bismarck and Northern State. Has officiated several state tourneys.

 Dr. Alan Lawrence:  A two-time state champ at Mobridge (1980-81). He has been the main medical advisor to the Watertown program since 1995.

 Doyle Everson:  Four-time national qualifier at NSU. Three-time state champion at Mitchell (1980-82). A longtime official and former coach at Miller, Douglas and Newell.

 Chet Jones:  Four-time national qualifier at NSU. Officiated state tournaments for 31 years.

 Cory Wallman:  Won four state titles at Freeman (1992-95), was 50-0 with 48 pins as a senior. All-American at Wisconsin. Fourth member of his family in hall (dad Gary and brothers Kirk and Troy).

 Les Sigman:  A state champ at Sturgis (2000), a four-time NCAA Division II champion at Nebraska-Omaha and a 2010 Olympic alternate.

 Eric Hauan:  Three-time state champ at Sturgis (1998-2000) and a two-time All-American at Northern Iowa.

 Andy Tate:  Wrestled at Huron and Huron College, coached Mitchell to five state titles.

 Jerry Hirrschoff:  Rapid City man who officiated for 36 years working 20 state tourneys and coached for 27.

 Hannon Hisek:  Five-time state champion from Bon Homme (1993-98) who had a career record of 237-7.

 Brad Lhotak:  Three-time state champ at Wagner (1990-92) who coached Sioux Valley for 11 years.

 Stan Steffensen:  Three-time state champ at Lake Preston (1976-78) who set the state record for consecutive wins (98). All-American for Huron College in 1981.
