ANCHORAGE -

The Alaska Aces added some offensively-minded talent in the form of center Chris Francis.

The free agent spent the first four years of his career paying for the Las Vegas Wranglers where he tallied 128 points and 50 goals.

Offense is what Aces Head Coach Rob Murray expects out of the team's new acquisition.

"His offensive skill makes him a threat, each night that he brings his best effort," Murray said in a press release. " He has the ability to develop into an elite level, two-way player that many American Hockey League teams seek after.  He is a welcomed addition to our dressing room."

More signings are expected in the coming weeks ahead of the start of the season.

The Aces will begin their season in Oct. 7 with a pair of preseason games against the Indy Fuel.
