The Alaska Goldpanners scored seven times in the third inning and racked 21 hits in a dominating 14-0 blowout of the Mat-Su Miners in game one of the Alaska Baseball League's Top of the World Series on Tuesday night at Mulcahy Stadium.  Cody Nulph led the Panners' attack with four hits, and seven of the team's nine starters had at least two base knocks.

Tanner Pinkston, Jacob Hayes, and Eric Hutting all struck for three hits.

Game two of the best of three series is Wednesday afternoon at 4:00, with game three, if necessary 30 minutes later.

In Monday's opener, The Goldpanners sent Miners' ace Tyler Stubblefield to the showers after 2 and 2/3 innings with six of their seven runs coming with two outs.  They added two in the fifth, one in the sixth, and four more in the seventh inning. 

With the win, the Goldpanners have now been victorious in 22 of 30 games this summer versus ABL competition.
