Alysa Horn scored 25 points and the UAA women's basketball team shot 14 of 32 from three-point range in their 73-47 blowout win over North Dakota State in Tuesday's Great Alaska Shootout opener at Sullivan Arena.
Sasha King added 21 points on 5 of 12 shooting from beyond the arc for the Seawolves, who move into their seventh Shootout title game in the last 10 years.
In the finals, UAA will meet Utah State, which edged Prairie View A&M, 67-66 in the other semifinal game. Devyn Christiansen nailed a three-pointer with 7 seconds left to give the Aggies the win. Wasilla's Jenna Johnson helped the Utah State cause with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Utah State will meet UAA for the championship at 5:00, while North Dakota State will battle Prairie View A&M at 2:30 for third place.
