The Anaheim Ducks signed left wing Patrick Maroon to a three-year contract extension through the 2017-18 season and left wing Nick Ritchie to a three-year entry-level contract on Saturday.
Terms of the deals were not released by the team.
Maroon, 26, had 11 goals and 18 assists with a plus-11 rating and a team-leading 101 penalty minutes in 62 games last season. He set career highs in each category.
Acquired from the Philadelphia Flyers in 2010, Maroon has 13 goals and 19 assists with a plus-10 rating and 113 penalty minutes in 77 NHL games. He was originally a sixth-round draft choice of the Flyers in 2007.
Ritchie, 18, has 73 goals and 75 assists with 246 penalty minutes in 165 games with the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League. The Ducks selected him with the No. 10 overall draft pick this year.
