The East Football team picked up its first win of the 2014 season, trouncing Eagle River 63-0 in Thursday night action at Anchorage Football Stadium.  Jumari Berry starred in a dominant T-Birds' first half, hauling in a pair of long touchdown passes from Clayton Washburn.  East led 36-0 at the break. 

The T-Birds move to 1 and 2 on the season and bounce back after being blanked a week ago in a 28-0 loss to Bartlett. The Wolves drop to 0 and 3.

Elsewhere, Palmer got into the win column for the first time this season by prevailing over North Pole in a see-saw game, 54-49. 

Chase Ferris rushed for 291 yards and scored five touchdowns, including the game-winning score on a 29 yard reception with a minute, 37 seconds remaining.  The Moose improve to 1 and 2 on the year, while the Patriots drop to 1 and 2.
