Eielson Moves Into Mid-Small Schools Top Spot

They may have lost their season opener, but the Service Cougars hold onto the top position in the Alaska Sports Broadcasting Network large schools football poll.  Service, which dropped a hard fought week one game against Leilehua ( Hawaii ), 23-15, leads the large schools top five.  Eielson, which downed 2011 state finalist Homer in week one, stands atop the medium-small schools poll.  Service returns to Alaska to face Bartlett in week two, while Eielson hosts Seward.
