Boonsboro and Williamsport will play for the Washington County tournament title Saturday at 3 p.m. at South Hagerstown, following the Clear Spring-North Hagerstown boys final at 1.

Williamsport, which edged Boonsboro 2-1 in their regular-season match on Sept. 25, will be aiming for its first county title since 1999, the year the tourney began.

Boonsboro also will be trying for its second county title. The Warriors were the champs in 2010.

County finals history:

* 1999 — Williamsport 6, Smithsburg 0;

* 2000 — No final was played after it was postponed twice (Williamsport and Smithsburg were the semifinal winners);

* 2001 — Smithsburg 4, North 1;

* 2002 — North 4, Clear Spring 2;

* 2004 — North 4, Boonsboro 2;

* 2005 — North 5, Boonsboro 2;
