Iron Dog Racers Reach Kaltag; Fairbanks Finish Expected Saturday

Much of the Iron Dog snowmachine race’s field took mandatory 10-hour layovers Thursday on their first day out of Nome en route to the finish line in Fairbanks, as the first racers reached Kaltag Thursday afternoon.
