The Alaska Aces completed their 3game series sweep over Stockton, defeating theThunder 4-1 Saturday night at the Sullivan Arena.
A fight ensued at puck drop between Aces' William Wrenn and Teigan Zahn. It was a brief altercation, as Wrenn dropped Zahn with the first punch.
Later in the period, Joey Crabb was the first to find the back of the net at 16:36 in the first off the pass from Matt Robinson. Two fights came immediately after the goal, resulting in penalties for Dustin Molle, Chris Clackson, and two Stockton players.
In the second, goals from Bobby Hughes and Garry Nunn gave Alaska a 3-0 lead going into the final period of play. At the buzzer, Brad Gorham and Tony DeHart dropped had a bit of a tilt before exiting the rink.
The Thunder would tally a goal late in the third, but an empty netter from Alexandre Imbeault would secure the fate of the game.
The Aces are back in action next Friday, hosting the Colorado Eagles.
