The Alaska Aces signed forwards Shawn Skelly and Samson Mahbod, and defenseman Mike Baran, Aces Head Coach Rob Murray announced Friday. 

 

Prior to the signings, Alaska was down to 12 active skaters for Friday night.  All newcomers are expected to be in the line up for the game.   

 

Skelly joins Alaska from the SPHL, and is considered a consistent threat to the net, talling 17goals and 30points in his 31 games this season.  Mahbod will be making his season debut in Idaho, also marking his third pro campaign.

 

Defenseman Baran is in his rookie year, leaving the Mississippi RiverKings of the SPHL to join the Aces.  This season, Baran has 1 goal, 8 assists, 9 points and 34 penalty minutes.

 

Alaska is set to begin their 3 day road trip Friday evening, against the Idaho Steelheads.
