Aces Sign Rookie Forward, Acquire Defenseman's Rights

The Alaska Aces now have 16 players under contract for the upcoming season.  Today the club announced the signing of rookie forward Jarred Smith out of Brown University and acquired the rights to defenseman Craig Syvret in a trade with the Trenton Titans.  Alaska received Syvret for future considerations.
