ANCHORAGE, Alaska —
The Alaska Aces continued their third period dominance in the early stages of this season, scoring all four of their goals in the final 20 minutes of a 4-1 win over the San Francisco Bulls on Friday. In five games this season, Alaska has outscored opponents 12-2 in the third.
Trailing 1-0 after two periods, the Aces received goals from Brandon Dubinsky, Alexandre Imbeault, Joey Crabb, and Nick Mazzolini in the rally. Imbeault, who previously played for the Aces between 2008 and 2010, was credited with the game-winner while Dubinsky and Crabb tallied on the power play.
Alaska improves to 3 and 2 overall with the victory, in which it outshot San Francisco, 44-19.
