The Alaska Aces have added a pair of players for the 2012-13 season. Defenseman Steve Ward returns for his third season with Alaska, while forward Tim Hall, who joined the club out of college late last season, have both re-signed with the Aces.
Ward registered five goals and 20 assists last season for the second highest scoring total of his five year professional career. He will be among the Aces veteran players, having accumulated at least 260 games of pro experience. ECHL teams are limited to four veterans at a position besides goaltender.
Hall, a 5 foot 8 175 pound forward, produced two assists in eight games for the Aces played after coming to the team out of Colorado College.
The Aces open the season Friday, October 12th at the Colorado Eagles.
