Utah Grizzlies goaltender Adam Morrison stopped all four Alaska Aces in a shootout as the Grizzlies edged the Aces, 3-2 in a shootout in Friday night ECHL action. Alaska stands 35-11-6 overall.
Nick Mazzolini and Chris Clackson scored goals for the Aces, who earn just one point despite not trailing in regulation. Mazzolini's 27 goals are the second most in the ECHL. Mark Guggenberger stopped 37 shots for the Aces.
