ANCHORAGE, Alaska —
The Alaska Aces scored four first period goals, two by former Bakersfield Condor Alex Hudson, in a 5-1 series opening win over the Condors on Thursday night at Sullivan Arena. Hudson was acquired by Alaska in a trade in January and now has eight goals on the season.
Sean Curry tallied for the second straight game, while Alexandre Imbeault struck for the 15th time this season in only the Aces and Condors second meeting of the season. Alaska improves to an ECHL-best 41-12-6, while Bakersfield remains in the ECHL Western Conference basement, at 18-37-5.
