Moore Pulls Away From Neff to Claim Yukon Quest Title

Two Rivers musher Allen Moore claimed his first win in a 1,000 mile sled dog race early Monday morning, capturing the 30th Yukon Quest at 6:54 am in Fairbanks.  Moore was able to hold off runner-up Hugh Neff, whose last minute charge in last year's race defeated Moore by 26 seconds for the title.
