ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
APU's Sadie Bjornsen claimed the women's title in the final day of the US National Cross Country Skiing Championships, taking the win in the freestyle sprint.
Bjornsen and competitor Sophie Caldwell lunged for the finish line, and video review declared Bjornsen the winner. APU's Becca Rorabaugh took 4th. This is Bjornsen's second title of the championships, and 4th medal.
For the men, APU's Erik Bjornsen took second in the sprint, just behind Dakota Blackhorse-von Jess. The race was Erik's third second place finish of the championships, and his 4th medal. UAF's Logan Hanneman also finished top 5.
