ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
Former UAA Seawolf David Registe, the 2008 Division II National Champion in the long jump, won his first career international medal on Tuesday, a bronze at the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico. Registe, from Palmer, Alaska, took third with a leap of 25 feet, 10 and three quarter inches.
Registe represented Dominica in the Pan Am Games. He holds dual citizenship. His performance gives Dominica its third medal ever at the Pan Am Games, and its first this year.
