UAA volleyball players Julia Mackey, Kimya Jafroudi, and Jodi Huddleston were honored by the GNAC on Monday when the league's coaches votes on all-conference teams and performers of the year.

Jafroudi, a senior setter, was a unanimous first team all-league selection, while Fairbanks product Mackey was named GNAC Freshman of the Year and also made the first team.  Huddleston, a transfer from Western Nebraska Community College, was the choice for GNAC Newcomer of the Year.

Jafroudi, all-league for the second straight season, ranked third in the conference in assists per set and first in aces.  Mackey earned her selection by finishing 9th in the GNAC in kills per set, and Huddleston led the Seawolves with 66 total blocks.

The trio helped UAA to an overall record of 16-10 overall and 11-7 in GNAC play, the Seawolves fifth consecutive winning mark under Chris Green.
