For the first time in the Alaska prep football season, a team other than Service has reached the top of the Alaska Sports Broadcasting Network large schools poll. South, which has outscored opponents 199 to 9 in a 4 and 0 start to the season, ascends to the number one spot. The previously top ranked Cougars drop three positions despite a shutout win over Eagle River.
