In the Railbelt Conference, second-ranked Juneau made a second straight trip to the Mat-Su Valley Friday, as the 3 and 0 Crimson Bears visited Colony. The Knights are winless all-time in the series, but Friday they marched to the beat of a different drummer.

In the first quarter, quarterback Anthony Bricker, a real find for Colony, took the ball to the endzone solo, putting the Knights on top 7-0.

Bricker, who’s making his second career start, then hooked up with Kenyon DePriest for a second score in the second quarter, the Knights shocking the Bears at the half 13-0.

Juneau mustered a touchdown on a pass from Phillip Fenumeeai to Colin Gozelski. But Bricker shattered the Bears’ defense like a plate-glass window, running for 243 yards and giving Colony a long-awaited win over Juneau, 26-7.
