Bartlett, currently one game out of the No. 1 ranking in the Cook Inlet Conference, faced Dimond at 1-and-2 in CIC play Friday.

The third quarter was the difference, when Dimond’s Dwayne Carter sent the ball to 6-foot-7-inch Ryden Hines in the endzone to snap a 6-6 tie.

Bartlett’s next series resulted in a punt blocked by Hines to set up a Nathan Stephens touchdown, soon followed by a second 67-yard Stephens run.

Dimond shocked mistake-prone Bartlett with a four-touchdown quarter, making 32-14 the final.
