For the second time in less than a week, the UAA men's basketball team fell to a top five Division II opponent, falling 59-56 at #4 Seattle Pacific on Thursday night.  The loss drops UAA to 10-7 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference and could be damaging to the Seawolves NCAA tournament hopes.  UAA came into the week ranked 9th in the latest west region poll.  Eight teams advance to the postseason.

Teancum Stafford led UAA with 20 points, and the Seawolves held the Falcons to just 38 percent shooting.  SPU did make 6 of 11 from beyond the three point arc and scored its last 13 points from the free throw line.

UAA played without leading scorer Kyle Fossman, who sat out with a hand injury.
