UAA Senior David Registe posted a fourth place finish in the long jump at the NCAA Division II Track And Field Championships on Thursday in Turlock, California. Registe's best jump was mark at 24 feet, 11 and a quarter inches, nearly one foot shorter than his qualifying jump.
Registe, who won the Division II long jump title in 2008, finishes his career with three top-five results at the national meet.
The only other Seawolf to compete in a final on Thursday was distance runner Ruth Keino. The Sophomore from Kenya placed eighth in the 10,000 meters in a time of 34 minutes, 30.53 seconds.
