ANCHORAGE, Alaska —
The UAA hockey team scored three goals for the first time in the last five games, but couldn't finish a comeback effort against WCHA rival Wisconsin on Friday night. The Badgers collected their third conference win of the season, 5-3. With the loss, the Seawolves dropped to 1-9-3 in league action.
Matt Bailey, Blake Tactchell, and Jordan Kwas all scored for UAA, which fought back after allowing Wisconsin two goals in the opening 8:17 of the first period.
The Seawolves never tied the game, however. Michael Mersch led the Badgers with his 12th goal of the season, and one assist.
