The 8th-ranked UAA women's basketball team staged a furious second half comeback, but could not overcome a slow start in a 67-62 loss to rival Seattle Pacific. The loss leaves league-leading UAA at 10-2 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, while the Falcons move into second place in conference play at 8-4 in the GNAC.
Freshman Gritt Ryder scored a career-high 15 points and helped UAA back from a 17-point halftime deficit, but the Seawolves could not overcome the deficit. The Seawolves committed 14 first half turnovers in the loss.
