The UAA hockey team carried play for stretches en route to salvaging one point in its weekend series with a 2-2 tie against #2 Minnesota on Saturday night in Anchorage.  The Seawolves move to 0-2-2 in conference play.

After spotting the Gophers an early goal, Jordan Kwas struck for UAA in the first period and Alex Gellert buried his fourth of the season to give UAA a short lived 2-1 lead in the third period. Eric Haula scored the game's final goal at 13:31 of the third to force overtime.

Rob Gunderson tallied 31 saves for the Seawolves, who are idle next weekend.
