Freshman Julia Mackey tallied 18 kills to lead the UAA volleyball team past Montana State-Billings, 25-19, 25-21, 25-18 on Thursday in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference match. The Seawolves continued their mastery over the Yellowjackets with their 35th win in 45 meetings all-time.
Although no other Seawolf reached double figures in kills, the team still enjoyed an overall attack percentage of .223, while allowing MSU-Billings a .098 percentage.
The Seawolves improve to 11 and 4 in the GNAC and 16 and 7 overall. On Saturday, the team plays its final home match at 8:00 against Seattle Pacific.
