The UAA volleyball team tied a school record with its 15th consecutive home win in a furious come from behind victory over rival UAF on Saturday. The Seawolves dropped the first two games by identical 25-22 scores before winning the last three games, 25-17, 25-20, 15-10.
Freshman Sarah Johnson led the Seawolves with a career high 24 kills, while fellow freshmen Julia Mackey ( a Fairbanks product ) and Katelynn Zanders hit for 13 and 12 kills, respectively.
UAA improves to 9 and 4 overall, including a 4 and 1 mark in the GNAC. UAF remains winless in conference action and drops to 2 and 9 overall.
