Alysa Horn scored 25 points to lead three players in double figures as the UAA women's basketball team defeated Central Washington on Thursday, 68-55. The Seawolves have won three in a row to reach sixth place at 7 and 7 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. Only six schools make the upcoming conference tournament. Four regular season games remain for UAA.
Kylie Burns poured in 16 points, while Jessica Madison added 15 as UAA shot 51 percent from the field despite hitting only 3 of 15 from beyond the three point arc.
The Seawolves try to go over .500 in league play Saturday at Northwest Nazarene.
