Moss played his first season for the Wild in 2011. After the 2011 season, he was called up to the Canadian Football League but was cut from the Edmonton Eskimos at the end of training camp. Moss then returned to the Wild in 2012 to have a break-out season and is optimistic that his 2013 campaign with the team will bring even better records than the last.
“I’m excited for a chance to win a championship this season,” Moss said. “…and of course to sack some quarterbacks.”
Moss came to Wichita from Texas A&M after graduating in 2010. In his senior season, Moss started in all 12 games registering 25 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 2 fumbles and one interception. Prior to attending Texas A&M, Moss played at Grossmont Community College in California where he was named one of the top 50 junior college recruits in the nation.
Moss rejoins the Wichita Wild in the CPIFL, which is set to kick-off its inaugural season on March 9 when the Wild travel to Tulsa to battle the Oklahoma Defenders for the first time.
