John Ramage fed Jordan Morrison for the go-ahead goal with 2:29 left in regulation, giving the Aces a 2-1 win over the Bakersfield Condors to open the ECHL's Western Conference Finals on Friday night at Sullivan Arena.  Alaska leads the series, one game to none, with game two set for Saturday night.

Morrison's tally was his third goal of the postseason and it gave Alaska its only lead of the contest.   Bakersfield's Chris Collins had given the Condors a 1-0 lead at 14:45 of the second period.  It proved to be his team's only tally of the contest, though.  Alaska's Evan Trupp knotted the score at one goal apiece with his fifth of the postseason, just 53 seconds into the third.

Olivier Roy started in net for the Aces and collected 25 aves.  Laurent Brossoit, who began the season with the Aces, made 33 saves for the Condors.
