The Alaska aces defeated the Colorado eagles 4-3 Saturday night at the Sullivan arena, making for a clean sweep of the 3 game series.

In the first period, Joey Crabb lit the lamp off a pass from Garry Nunn at 2:55, and was the only goal of the period.

Nate Thompson would score next, at 5:31 in the second, followed quickly by another Alaska goal from Scott Gomez.  Also scoring in the period was Nick Mazzolini and Colorado's Dylan Hood to make it 4-1 at second intermission.

Colorado rallied in the final period, with goals from Jack Combs and Kyle Ostrow, but still fell short 4-3.

Alaska hits the road for Idaho next week, for their first of six away games.
