The Alaska Aces completed the 3 game series against the Bakersfield Condors with a 4-3 win, claiming the series 2 games to 1.
The first bit of action didn't come until the last minutes of period one, when Kane Lafranchise capitalized on the power play assisted by Chad Anderson and Garry Nunn.
The Aces dominated the second period, with Chris Langkow lighting the lamp at 10:10 to give Alaska the 2-0 advantage. At second intermission, Alaska had 22 shots on goal to Bakersfield's 11.
In the third, Brian Miller and Nick Mazzolini both added a goal a piece giving the Aces a promising 4-0 lead. In the final minutes, the Condors pulled the goalie to rally back 4-3 but were unable to send the game into overtime.
The Aces return to the Sullivan Arena Thursday, February 23rd, hosting the Las Vegas Wranglers.
