The Alaska Aces avenged Friday's loss with a 9 - 4 win over the Bakersfield Condors Saturday evening.
Lighting the lamp at 4:30 in the first was Brian Swanson from Dan Kissel and Tyson Marsh. Wes Goldie would roll with the momentum adding another goal shortly after. The Condor's Evan Trupp narrowed the gap by netting Bakersfield first goal of the evening, making the score 2-1. But Alaska didn't flinch, adding 3 more by the conclusion of the first for a 5-2 lead. Adding to the talley was Alaska's Ethan Cox, Blair Yaworski, Nick Mazzolini and another for Bakersfield's Trupp.
Rounding out the final was a second goal from Yaworski, two from Goldie, Steve Ward, Condor's Ryan Annesley and Robby Dee.
The series concludes Sunday, February 19, 5pm at the Sullivan Arena.
