Joey Crabb scored twice, and Scott Gomez tallied the game winner 4:37 into the third period as the Alaska Aces beat the Stockton Thunder, 3-1 on Friday night to run their winning streak to a season-long nine in a row.
Gerald Coleman made 37 saves as Alaska improved to an ECHL-best 27-8-0.
Earlier in the day, the club received some good news as well, when coach Rob Murray was selected to coach the ECHL All-Stars at the annual contest on January 23rd.
