The NBA may be on a work stoppage, but on December 1st, there will be pro basketball in, of all places, Anchorage.
Alaska Hoops, Inc. and Alaskan NBA players Mario Chalmers and Carlos Boozer will host a charity game at Sullivan Arena on December 1st that will feature 19 confirmed NBA players. Those players include stars like Chris Bosh, a teammate of Chalmers on the Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley, and former Great Alaska Shootout MVP Nate Robinson, now of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Boozer and Chalmers will also play.
Ticket sales from the game will benefit the Mario V. Chalmers Foundation and Alaska Hoops, Inc.
