Marcus Stroman (4-2) easily made the support hold up, limiting New York to one run on three hits while striking out seven in eight dominant innings.Mark Teixeira hit a solo homer in the fourth and Yangervis Solarte broke an 0-for-28 slide with an RBI single in a two-run ninth for the Yankees.
