Coaches of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference expect the UAA men to be pretty good this season, predicting the Seawolves to place second in the annual preseason poll.  UAA, which finished 18-9 last season, earned one first place vote, while the other nine went to league favorite Seattle Pacific.

UAA brings back a solid nucleus, led by guards Kyle Fossman and Travis Thompson, plus forward Teancum Stafford.  The Seawolves opened practice on Tuesday and take the court for the first time in an exhibition game, Saturday November 2nd, at BYU.
