ANCHORAGE, Alaska -

Katelynn Zanders floored a team-high 15 kills on 35 attempts as the UAA volleyball team broke a two-match skid with a 25-21, 25-14, 25-20 win at St. Martin's On Thursday night.  The Seawolves improve to a GNAC-best 10-2 in conference play, 16-8 overall.

As a team, UAA regained form offensively, hitting for a .325 average for the night.  Although Zanders was UAA's lone hitter to reach double figures in kills, Brooke Pottle delivered eight and Jodi Huddleston added seven.

UAA has played the last three matches without its second leading hitter, Julia Mackey, who has a mild tear of her meniscus.   The Seawolves travel to Western Oregon on Saturday.
