For the fourth time in five years, The UAA volleyball team has qualified for the NCAA Division II tournament.  The Seawolves are the seventh seed out of eight west region qualifiers as the field was announced on Monday.   UAA will take on second seed and nationally 4th-ranked BYU-Hawaii in the first round of the playoffs.

UAA earned its spot in the field with an overall record of 21-9, including a 15-3 mark in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play and solidified its bid with back to back three game sweeps to cap the regular season.

Prior to coach Chris Green's arrival in 2008, the Seawolves had only two such NCAA tournament appearances in their history, in 1989 and 1990.
