Kelly Krauskopf, who has been with the Fever since it was founded in 1999, helped lead the team to being the only WNBA team ever to post seven 20-win seasons during an eight-year span.
After becoming general manager in 2004, Krauskopf led the team to eight consecutive playoffs, including a runner-up title in 2009 and the WNBA Championship this year.
“The Indiana Fever won the 2012 WNBA Championship because of Kelly’s overall leadership along with the roster and coaching staff she assembled,” said Simon. “And I’m pleased to look toward the future with her as president and general manager of this franchise.”
Prior to joining the Fever, Krauskopf has been a member of the committee in charge of selecting the women’s roster for the Olympics since 2000.
