Nancy Lu McBee Carter, 80, widow of Tommy Carter, died Jan. 2, 2013, at Charleston Healthcare Center.
Born Feb. 20, 1932, in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd Cecil and Martha Robertson McBee. She was a homemaker, a member of the Oleika Shriner’s auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star and First Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Mike (Anne Mary) Carter of Morgantown, W.Va., and Mac (Sherry) Carter of Danville; a daughter, Mindy Carter of Danville; and a grandson, Ben Carter.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Jerry Shepard officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Shriners Hospital for Children.
