Rob Caudill and Andrew Lasure of Danville have been named to the Louisville Slugger High School All-America first team.
Caudill, a pitcher-shortstop who has signed with Davidson, and Lasure, a catcher who has signed with East Tennessee State, were two of 119 players on the first team, which is picked by the staff of Collegiate Baseball.
Caudill was 10-2 with three saves and a 0.58 earned-run average in his senior season, and he also batted .365. Lasure hit .443 with 10 home runs and 53 RBIs.
The first team features 31 players who were chosen in the first four rounds of the major league draft. Players were nominated by their high school coaches.
