    <strong>Yale Opera </strong>stages Tchaikovsky's opera Iolanta is about an innocent princess who has been blind since birth and does not know what it means that other people have sight. After hearing about a "cure" the king brings in an exotic specialist who can make Iolanta see only when she becomes aware of what her blindness means. How will it turn out? This production will be directed by Michael Gieleta. Timothy Shaindlin will be the musical director. Performances will take place at Morse Recital Hall in Sprague Hall (470 College St., corner of Wall Street). Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4 at 8 pm.
