Western Tech, junior

* Won two state titles at the Class 1A championship meet

* Captured the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.58, edged out Pikesville's Maury Sall in the 300 (35.38), and ran on the second-place 1,600 relay team

* Also won the 55 and ran on the winning 1,600 relay team at the Class 1A Central regional meet

* Finished second in the 300 and third in 55 at the Baltimore County meet

Hale Bullen

Annapolis, senior

* Finished his high school indoor track career with a successful season in which he remained one of the state's top distance runners

* After winning the Class 3A state title in cross country, Bullen won the 3,200 at the state indoor meet (9:27.05)

* Bullen also won the Anne Arundel County title in the 3,200 by almost 42 seconds

* Headed to the Naval Academy next year

Vince Ciattei

Perry Hall, senior

* Ran well in the Baltimore County, Class 4A Central regional and state meets at the end of the season

* Set state and class records with his victorious time of 4:14.61 in the 1,600 at the state meet

* Won the 3,200 with a late rally to complete a tough distance sweep

* Also swept both races in the Baltimore County and regional meets
